Our Lesson Program

Our lesson program is the heart and soul of our farm. On any given day, you’ll see various kids and adults alike taking lessons. We have multiple instructors (check them out on our Meet the Team page!) so you can ensure you find the right fit and the teaching style that works best for you.

We have an active show schedule, including regular trips to USDF recognized horse shows, local and rated hunter and jumper shows, and yearly trips to the CBLM Championships and Region 1 USDG GAIGs. If you’d like to compete but don’t have your own horse, we have schoolmasters available to lease and help you meet your goals.

We have several popular, active programs that cater to junior riders, as well. (Check out our Kids page!) For our dressage riders, we have our Junior Dressage Team, which makes yearly trips to Lendon Gray’s Youth Dressage Festival, also known as Dressage 4 Kids, or D4K. This team participates in other events throughout the year as well, such as clinics and fundraising events. For our hunter riders, we have our IEA Team, which is a major force in IEA Zone 11. The SNF IEA team is the reigning champion of Zone 11, Region 3 since 2015 for both middle school and high school. In 2017, the middle school team was Zone 11 overall champion and 8th place national overall middle school team. IEA is a great way to ride with your friends in a team setting and get to ride lots of different types of horses.

We are confident you will feel right at home with Second Nature Farm!
