General Leasing Conditions for SNF Lesson Horses & Ponies:

• Leases run in 6-month increments. Please provide 30 days courtesy cancellation notice prior to the end of the 6-month period if you do not wish to continue your lease.
• All lesson horses/ponies are on a half-lease program, which is a set price per month + the cost of the horse’s shoes. The shoeing bill varies from animal to animal; please inquire for specific information on the monthly fee.
• Some horses are available for full lease. Full leases are a set price per month + the cost of shoeing. Please inquire for specific information on the monthly fee.
• Half lease permits 3 rides/week.
• Full leases permit 5-6 rides/week.
• Lease fee does not include lesson fees.
• Lessors must take at least one weekly lesson.
• Lessor has first preference of leased horse for all shows/clinics.
• Privately owned horses/ponies are also often available for lease. Their lease contracts will vary, per owner’s request. A $200 monthly fee to SNF with be required for all non-SNF leased horses. Please inquire regarding lease options on other horses/ponies at SNF.
